Up until February 8, 2007, membership in the Dynamic Movement Forum was free. However, that all changed on February 9, 2007. Why? It is all explained here: Paid Membership Introduced. All in all, this was done to cut down on and eventually eliminate the frequent violations of the website’s Terms of Service. The main violations that were taking place had to do with adult content. There were instances where some (now former) members made multiple posts of the same post in different forums on the site, all of which had adult content in contravention of the TOS. This measure is aimed at preventing that from happening again. It seems a lot of people take free things for granted and abuse it at times, as is evident in this case.

So what does this mean, effectively? New members will have to pay the membership fee, which is due monthly. Persons who joined before the change will continue as free members, unless they violate the TOS at which time they would be removed from the members roll. Based on the number of hits to the Dynamic Movement Forum site over the past couple of weeks, it seems as if the growth of the site will remain phenominal for now, provided the paid membership status does not effect a slow down. At the time of this writing, there were 383 registered users. Those who truly need the services of the site will join and benefit from it.

The word on the street is that the website will soon be introducing contests whereby members vie for cash prizes. If you are not a member, you cannot participate. So join today and get in early. The competitons are going to start sooner than later!
