Get Yourself A New Look Kitchen

A good looking kitchen can be the difference between a house that looks good on the inside and one that looks unpresentable. There are many kitchen designs that have been created to complement the taste of home owners. Custom-built kitchens are also becoming more and more popular because the ‘traditional looking kitchen’ does not fit into the modern times scope in terms of the layout. In the U.K. for instance, you can check out custom designed kitchens at Kitchens Rhyl, the official website of the Sharon Kitchens company located in North Wales.

Sharon Kitchens has been manufacturing kitchens since 1973 and was started by a gentleman named Bernard Burke. The family owned company offers its customers a high level of professionalism and service on every order that they receive. All the kitchens are built in their factory using modern machinery and they are backed by a very skilled and experienced team who are dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction. If you need to have a custom-designed kitchen for your home, and you live in North Wales, Colwyn Bay, Abergele, Rhyl, or Prestatyn, you can give them a call and they will be glad to help to fill your order.

In addition, you can take a look at some of Sharon Kitchens previous work so that you can see exactly what you can expect from them. And if you do not where to find them, they provide directions on the website. Their level of competence is second to none and they guarantee that you will get what you ordered. In fact, their work has become renowned to the point where they even supply the North Wales authorities and hospitals. Order your custom-designed kitchen today and improve the look of your home’s interior. Even your friends will appreciate the new look of your kitchen that Sharon Kitchens designed for you.

The Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor 5300 series

Intel has produced the first quad-core processor known as the Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor 5300 series. This processor multiplies your performance, energy-efficiency, and reliability. In addition, the quad-core processors helps to decrease the total cost of ownership of a server “with lower power consumption, increased uptime, and a reduced footprint without sacrificing the record-breaking performance you expect from Intel”, according to Intel. What next? Penta-core processors? At the rate Intel is going anything is possible.

Intel claims that persons who use the Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor 5300 series will “experience up to 50 percent greater performance than industry-leading Dual-Core Xeon processor in the same power envelope and up to 150 percent greater performance than the competition with Quad-Core Intel Xeon processor 5300 series. Translating into greater performance with less cooling challenges, these servers enable you to run more applications with a smaller footprint, giving you revolutionary ways to achieve more with less.” This amazes me because the norm is that the faster the processor is the more cooling it would need. My computer uses a 1.7 GHz AMD processor and I have to open the case at times to keep it cool! Maybe I need to get a motherboard that can take the quad-core cpu and upgrade my PC.

Intel has made processors over the years that have been quite efficient and are being used in thousands of computers all over the world. Their technology was the one that I was exposed to at the start and I am still impressed with them, though my present cpu is not Intel-based. Nonetheless, Intel’s growing hold on the processor market is underlined by the fact that they are innovative with their creations and always seem to introduce products that people will want. Not only that, the higher the technology is the better the cooling ability.

Lastly, here is what Intel has to say about itself, which is true: “Intel has revolutionized the general-purpose server, providing the performance you need to transform your data center from a support mechanism into an engine of success.” Gotta build me a quad-core server soon.

Press Release: E-gold Details Scam E-mail

Press Release
February 14, 2007

We all, at one time or another, have gotten e-mails from the so-called Paypal website, from the so-called eBay site, Hotmail, Yahoo!, and more. What kind of e-mails am I talking about? The ones that tell you something is wrong with your account and that you need to submit some info about yourself to prevent it from being closed down. We all know, though, that the real sites would never send such a request via e-mail. Well, there is a new one out, this time claiming to come from e-Gold. Below is the message I got over the weekend, which I am asking all to look out for:

To: [my e-mail address]
Subject: Your E-gold account will be suspended
From: “Costumer Service E-Gold” [support@e-gold.com]
Date: Sat, 10 Feb 2007 05:01:05 -0500

Regards,Safeharbor Department E-gold, Inc
The E-gold team.
This is an automatic message. Please do not reply.

What is interesting, as usual is that the part that says ‘click here’ never points to the real website. In this particular e-mail, it pointed to a website at http://www.scholarswithoutborders.in/images/egold/index.html (you donnot have to click on the link to see that it goes there. Just hover you mouse pointer over ‘click here’ and you will see it). Beware of this e-mail. It is NOT from E-gold.

Medivac Air Ambulance Emergency Service

Accidents and other emergencies happen on a day to day basis. In many cases, the need for emergency services arises, especially those of the police, fire, and ambulance services. Time is a very critical component after an accident that determines whether or not persons survive based on the extent of their injuries. The quicker the response from medical personnel is the greater the chance of survival becomes. But there are times when the ordinary on the road ambulance service may not be enough to save lives. The need for a ‘higher’ level of ambulance service has resulted in the creation of
medivac, an air ambulance service that specializes in medical evacuation and and air evacuation medical flights.

AeroCare is a world renowned provider of Air Ambulance services, offering their services nationally and internationally, using state of the art medical equipment. They are well staffed with medical professionals who are well trained and, on March 29, 2003, became fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS). Some of their staff are located at their Flight Coordination Center which offers 24 hour service. This ensures that as soon as they recive a call, they are able to move without delay. This assurance is also bolstered by the fact that they have capable pilots, mechanics, and other medically trained flight crews who are committed to providing quality service that is affordable and available at a seconds notice.

The Medivac Service has a large fleet of well maintained aircraft that are always in ready mode. Because AeroCare knows the value of life and the importance of time, their team of highly motivated professionals treat all their patients the same - as their own family! This makes people put their full trust in the expertise and competence of the staff and thus makes the AeroCare team the best in the world. To make life a little easier for all, their website provides more information on their servcies, personnel, aircraft, and more. You can even get an online quote to see what the possible cost of having a medical air evcuation done would cost. Just fill out the fields on the page and click the Submit button. They will get back to you as soon as possible.

So if you are looking for a trustworthy team of highly trained professionals who will treat you like family, you can give AeroCare a call. They will be there 24 hours a day waiting for your call.

The Stuck Keyboard

Typing can be a real hassle especially when the keys on the keyboard are sticking. When I say sticking I mean once pressed they refuse to come back up. Or it could be that they do come back up … after a period of time has passed. In either instance, it can be quite frustrating and time consuming. But what could be the possible causes of this? How can it be prevented? If it is happening now, what can be done?

Let’s take the questions one by one. The possible causes can be anything from dirt to a piece of paper. When dirt gets stuck under the keys, once moisture gets on it, the dirt hardens and becomes sticky. Other than that, there are times when small objects get lodged under the keys. Sometimes it may be an insect, a paper clip, food, nails, etc. When it comes to food, this attracts unwanted pests who will eat away the keys and circuitry on the keyboard, which will render it unusable after a while.

You can prevent your keyboard keys from getting stuck by regularly cleaning under it. If something falls under the keys (especially liquid) try to clean it up same time. Vacuuming the keyboard from time to time also helps. This also answers the last question. If the keys are sticking right now, pull the keyboard down and perform a thorough cleaning operation. By doing this regularly, you are in line for a non-sticky keys keyboard which will make typing more enjoyable.

The Dynamic Movement Forum - Paid Membership

Up until February 8, 2007, membership in the Dynamic Movement Forum was free. However, that all changed on February 9, 2007. Why? It is all explained here: Paid Membership Introduced. All in all, this was done to cut down on and eventually eliminate the frequent violations of the website’s Terms of Service. The main violations that were taking place had to do with adult content. There were instances where some (now former) members made multiple posts of the same post in different forums on the site, all of which had adult content in contravention of the TOS. This measure is aimed at preventing that from happening again. It seems a lot of people take free things for granted and abuse it at times, as is evident in this case.

So what does this mean, effectively? New members will have to pay the membership fee, which is due monthly. Persons who joined before the change will continue as free members, unless they violate the TOS at which time they would be removed from the members roll. Based on the number of hits to the Dynamic Movement Forum site over the past couple of weeks, it seems as if the growth of the site will remain phenominal for now, provided the paid membership status does not effect a slow down. At the time of this writing, there were 383 registered users. Those who truly need the services of the site will join and benefit from it.

The word on the street is that the website will soon be introducing contests whereby members vie for cash prizes. If you are not a member, you cannot participate. So join today and get in early. The competitons are going to start sooner than later!

Personal and Secured Loans from Loanwize

Loans are instruments that many people around the world borrow at one time or another to pay their bills, buy a car or house, pay for education, and so on. From Banks to Credit Unions, loans are becoming increasingly accessible to just about anyone who needs it, at varying interest rates. It is fascinating to know that there are many different types of loans one can get. For instance, you can get poor credit loans that help you to pay off your your credit card balances and revitalize your credit score. This is especially beneficial for persons who find themselves in financial difficulties for one reason or another and are unable to clear their debts using their salary or other source of income alone. In such a case, it would help to avoid crediting things you do not need so as to help you get a healthy credit score in a shorter time period.

Then there are what are called secured loans. These are just right for persons who are homeowners and want to make improvements on their home. The risk of a secured loan is less, which translates into lower interest rates for the borrower. Be aware, though, that if for whatever reason you are unable to reapay a secured loann that your home may be at risk of being auctioned by the lender in an effort to recover the monies owed to him.

There are also personal loans, or unsecured loans, and mortgages that are available. Respecting personal loans, they are loans that incorporate a lender lending the borrower a certain amount of money that has to be repaid at an agreed interest rate. This type of loan is for individuals who need a loan right now or who are non-home owners. Interest rates are usually high because of the high level of risk that is involved with providing personal loans. As for mortgages, you can find the best one just for your needs. Mortgages can be used to secure the purchase of a home and also attract an interest rate. If you are looking for any of the types of loans that are mentioned above, contact LoanWize today and get the loan that is right for you.

Correct Posture and Typing Go Hand In Hand

How you sit plays a role in how you feel after having spent a good amount of time in front of the computer. Correct posture dictates sitting in a chair that has a back and arm rests, preferrably. In addition, avoid slumping your body forward for too long a time period as this will result in you straining your lower back muscles after a while. Have you ever felt all cramped up after sitting at your desk for an extended peiod? It has happened to the best of us and will continue happening because by nature many of us sit in a way that stresses our bodies. Many of us sit for hours upon hours at the PC without even taking a break, which is not good.

How you place your hands when using the keyboard is also just as imporant. Try not to suspend your hands for prolonged periods as this tires out the wrists and makes typing painful. If at all possible, get a wrist rest for your keyboard so that you can place your wrists on it. A side note here: Take a break every hour or so for 5 minutes from computer to rest your eyes. This will help save you having to buy glasses later on.

So do your best to sit properly and comfortably while at the computer. It can mean the difference between a life of back and wrist aches or life a free of them. Correct posture is important - don’t take it for granted.
