There are many download managers on the market today. I have tried quite a few of them, but for the most part they have come up short in one way or another. What I have noticed is that the majority of them do not have resume support and are restricted to downloading only from between two to four mirror sites. Despite all those factors, Free Download Manager is able to pick up downloads where they left off at the time of the interruption. If you are going to be away from your computer before the download(s) finish, you can set the FDM to automatically hang up the internet connection, exit from the program, or shutdown the computer for you.

Free Download Manager has made my surfing and downloading a lot safer and easier. This is because I can now get the opinions of people who have downloaded files that I want. “In this way, ” as the website states, “FDM users will always be warned against useless or malicious files.” What better download manager could you want.
