There are numerous ways in which we can easily market our websites and online businesses. Separate and apart from the usual submitting of your website to search engines, there are other ways in which internet marketing can be accomplished. One such way is through the use of internet marketing scripts. These scripts help us not only to generate more sales but also enhance the effectiveness of our websites. I am referring to scripts like Auto Countdown, Auto Launcher, Auto RSS, Auto Squeeze, Easy Cloaker, Easy SplitTest, Email Router, and Mass URL.

If you strongly believe that your internet marketing strategies need an immediate boost, why not consider getting these scripts for yourself right now? It may prove to be one of the wisest decisions you ever make as it relates to internet marketing.

Today I had some serious issues on one of my websites after activating PHP 5 on it which was required by a particular script to run properly. As soon as I activated it and took a look at the site online, I was shocked to see a blank page with the words “No input file specified” on the screen. What is this?, I asked myself. Now, the only thing I did to the website was activate PHP 5 so it must have something to do with that. So I did some Googling and found a few solutions that were for the most part the same. They stipulated making changes to the .htaccess file and httpd config file, all of which I tried but none of them worked.

So, how was I able to solve the problem? Well, after thinking for a while, I decided to check the PHP Manager in my Control Panel for some clues. That is when it hit me – Safe Mode was ON. Now, thinking back to my past installations of scripts, most of them required Safe Mode to be OFF, so I turned it OFF and voila! my site came up! What a relief! So, I am now able to install my new script without any problems. The moral of all this? If you start running PHP 5 on your server and then get the “No input file specified” warning, simply check to ensure that Safe Mode is set to OFF. This can save you hours of trying to find possible solutions to such a simple problem.

Link Building is an important aspect of Search Engine Optimization, or SEO. When one thinks of the word “optimization”, it carries the thought of making something that is already there better, even if it is already good. Think, for example, of a car engine. Even though it may make the vehicle it is in move fast, if a mechanic were to tweak it a bit, it can make the vehicle perform much better. In like manner, Seo Links are vital to a website’s survival because without it traffic to the site would dry up and the website would inevitably die. When search engines are able to find your website when it is linked from other sites, your site gets more exposure, allowing it to benefit from increased traffic.

Using the correct keywords has long been known to aid in SEO. When you use keywords that reflect the content of your website, it gets indexed in search engines much better than if you used non-targeted keywords. Another way to gain more traffic to your site and boost your site’s SEO is to Buy Links that point to your website. The more websites that have a link to your site is the more likely your website will get traffic. It’s like a partnership – one partner helps the other. If your website’s traffic is nothing to boast over, and you wish it were, you can pursue the avenue of link building to boost the number of visitors it gets.

I just wanted to tell you all about a cool new site called IM Report Card. It is a relatively new community that’s updated daily with reviews of popular Internet marketing products, services and people. Have you been wondering if that product or service you are thinking of buying is worth it? Now you can find out before you buy. You can also grade products you’re familiar with, report scams, add comments and write your own reviews, and even earn points just for participating.

Myself and some of my products are reviewed on the site. Would you do me a favor and grade and comment on them? Check it out and see what you think. If we all just make a little effort we can make it a lot harder for the promoters of crappy products to do business online, and shine the spotlight on those that deserve it.

The following information is 100% my opinion and has NOT been endorsed or sponsored in any form by the mentioned programs:

Over the years I have been observing the behaviour of what are arguably two of the best antivirus programs on the market, namely Norton Antivirus and Kaspersky Antivirus. Though for the most part I have used Norton Antivirus, Kaspersky has always been of interest to me. It was not until I conducted several tests of both programs did I realize that, in my opinion, Kaspersky is by far the better of the two. What has led me to my conclusion? Well, here are a few things I realized:

1. Norton Antivirus literally hogs any available memory. My computer ran much slower and froze at times for many seconds at intervals when Norton was installed. Kaspersky on the other hand did none of that. Programs ran much faster, and even when performing background scans, it was hardly noticeable which is in stark contrast to Norton which slowed down other program load times.

2. Boot up times for Windows was much longer with Norton Antivirus. I really cannot understand what it could be loading to the extent that long after my desktop background came up, the icons took forever to appear. On the other hand, with Kaspersky installed Windows booted up much quicker and the desktop icons started showing even before Kaspersky loaded.

3. The frequent updates by Kaspersky Antivirus did not drastically increase CPU Usage and really works in the background – you never really realizew when it is working. The opposite is true of Norton Antivirus – it really made it known that it was performing background checks. There are times when I would be working on a document and try to save it. The time it took to actually save a document while Norton was updating would have been the same amount of time it would take for me to get a glass of juice, watch TV for about 5 minutes, shower and return.

Well, as I said these are thoughts based on my use of both antivirus software. Don’t get me wrong though because they both have pros and cons when put to the test. Each has something over the other. When going shopping for either of the two, make a proper comparison and choose the one you think will give you the best results. Just keep in mind that you can learn something about them from another persons experience using them. The final decision is however still your own.
