Persons who are sexually active are exposed to a number of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) when they do not use protection. Many of these diseases are not fatal and can be treated, a few can be cured, and there are some that are downright fatal, like AIDS. One STD in particular than can treated, but not totally cured, is herpes which is caused by the herpes simplex virus. The thing with this particular STD is that someone may have it and not even know. When that person has unprotected sex with another person it can be passed on. Such is the seriousness of STDs overall. That is why it is important that all sexually active persons take care when engaging in sexual activities, especially when they have more than one partners.
As I stated earlier, there are treatments for a number of STDs, and herpes is no exception. Two treatments of herpes that claim to work on any area and have no side effects are ‘King Cold Sore and Herpes’ and ‘Clear Herpes/Shingles/HTI’. These antiviral treatments slow down the rate at which the virus multiplies which in effect allows the immune system to fight future outbreaks. This is of course good news for persons who suffer from herpes. The sooner infected persons get treated is the sooner they will be able to rebuild their self esteem and feel more confident when they are doing their thing.
